At 11:42 p.m., police responded to a silent alarm at a furniture store in the 3000 block of First Avenue. Police saw movement inside the building and surrounded the store. Officers searched the building and found the man hiding in a crawlspace between the drywall and insulation.
Police recognized the suspect from a bulletin that had been passed around at roll call. The suspect was wanted on a felony warrant for a burglary at a school in the Chinatown International District and is suspected of additional burglaries in the department's West and South precincts, police said.
The suspect was booked into King County Jail for investigation of burglary as well as the felony warrant.
Jaeger has graduated from K9 school and is an operational police service dog! Jaeger will be serving the City of Seattle with his pal Officer Rory Smith who raised him from a ten week old puppy, a first in the history of the Seattle Police Department!
